LG Lifeband Touch

At CES 2014, LG announced a new type of wearable technology called Lifeband Touch. The device is described as an advanced, state-of-art fitness, health and communication tracker that uses Bluetooth to connect to the user’s Android or iOS device. Thanks to a number of built-in sensors, the device is able to track your movement and calories burned, as well as measure heart rate with special heart rate headphones that “listen” to blood flow in your ears.
The Lifeband Touch doubles as a smartwatch, too. It features a LED color touch screen that displays time and notifications from your phone. The device can also control media playback and manage calls or messages. Pricing and availability of the Lifeband Touch have not yet been announced, stay tuned for more information.

LEGO The Simpsons House 71006 Photos & Minifigures Revealed!

OMG! I'm so excited! Some images just leaked from the new lego set, and guess what is the theme??? The Simpsons!! And it's their house. And it even opens!! We knew that this was coming, but how exciting is this? Check the new photos...

As the one confirmed LEGO Simpsons playset, we knew the LEGO Store-exclusive LEGO The Simpsons house was going to be pretty large–but even I’m surprised by how large it actually is! The 71006 LEGO Simpsons House consists of a fairly grandiose 2523 pieces–a huge number for a LEGO house! I’m not at all convinced that LEGO captured the authentic color of the Simpsons’ house from the cartoon, but otherwise the building looks pretty dead-on accurate.

Six minifigures are included with the Spring 2014 LEGO Simpsons House: a LEGO Homer Simpson Minifigure, a LEGO Marge Simpson Minifigure, a LEGO Bart Simpson Minifigure, a LEGO Lisa Simpsons Minifigure, a LEGO Maggie Simpson Minifigure, and a LEGO Ned Flanders minifigure.

The 100 Most Anticipated Albums of 2014, According to Stereogum

Following last year’s compilation, Stereogum presents “The 100 Most Anticipated Albums of 2014.” Although no list is perfect, some unlucky soul has to take on the daunting task of rummaging through all the “anticipated” projects and selecting a few noteworthy candidates — in this case 100.
We limited the list to albums we feel confident will come out in 2014, whether because we’ve heard confirmation (or close to it) from labels, managers, or the artists themselves, or because the timing seems extremely likely. For the educated guesses, we needed something resembling evidence to go on, which is why we didn’t include perennial wish list material like he Avalanches (who have been the subject of fruitless rumors for more than a decade) but did include Joanna Newsom (who has been debuting new material for well over a year) and Taylor Swift (who, like clockwork, has released a new LP every other autumn since 2006 and is “ahead of schedule” for LP5; speaking of which, how cool would it be if she made an album that resembled …Like Clockwork?).
Below you’ll find what the team at Stereogum is looking forward to listening to for the next 365 days. Let us know your picks in the comments below.

Must Have - Vespa 946

Everybody that knows me, knows that I ride a scooter, it's my only way of transportation, and my favorite one. It saves you from traffic, the dreadfulness of never finding a parking space, and escape the awful network of public transportation. But one thing is to ride a scooter, another is to ride the new Vespa 946. I'm in love! Check it out!!!

The 2013 Vespa 946 scooter (no it’s not powered by a 946 cc engine) takes its design inspirations from the original World War II era MP6 prototype with modern-day technology. The Vespa 946’s monocoque is made out of steel but makes use of aluminum on the fenders, side plates, seat unit, and handlebars to reduce weight and achieve a better ride and fuel economy. The 946 is equipped with LED headlight and taillight.

The Vespa 946 scooter is powered by an air-cooled 1-cylinder 125cc four-stroke engine that produces 11.4 horsepower (bhp) and 7.9 pound-feet of torque; these are small numbers but the Vespa 946 is about fuel economy and ease of riding. The new Vespa gets 129 miles per gallon and produces 30% less emissions than the model it replaces.
