Breaking News - Hermès and Gaultier Part Ways

French luxury goods company Hermès International said Wednesday that designer Jean-Paul Gaultier is leaving the company after seven years, during which he supervised women's ready-to-wear operations for the company.
It said Hermès and Mr. Gaultier "have decided to bring to an end to their collaboration, allowing Jean-Paul Gaultier to concentrate on his own projects." Christophe Lemaire will be appointed artistic director of Hermès women's ready-to-wear beginning with the fall-winter 2011 collection, Hermès said.
The company said the spring-summer 2011 ready-to-wear collection to be revealed in October will be the last created by Mr. Gaultier for Hermès
